It all sounds familiar to me. It was exactly how I felt when I started networking or (to be honest), even now when I join/attend a networking group/event for the first few times.

This is why I started WINtroverts...because I totally "get it".

I would have welcomed someone being there for me to "show me the ropes" in a safe space until I gained enough confidence to spread my wings.

WINtroverts Networking Event Description

Many business relationships, contracts and commissions are built and developed through networking (no surprise there!). However, some networking formats unintentionally exclude people who find jam-packed and fast-paced environments uncomfortable and over-stimulating.

"So, what's different about WINtroverts Networking?", you might ask.

WINtroverts Networking format is:

• virtual/online
• low/no pressure
• supportive

Networking and doing business don’t have to be frenetic and fraught, which can put off and exclude some people from turning up for themselves and their business.

WINtroverts Networking's mission is to:

• provide an inclusive, encouraging space
• empower people to develop networking skills in their own way, at their own pace
• facilitate the power of collaboration in business and society

You'll still have opportunities to:

• Make useful, mutually beneficial business contacts
• Promote your business while gaining understanding of other businesses at the event
• Assess which business contacts "click" with you and your business
• Initiate meaningful connections to start building business relationships

• have your camera and microphone on/off is up to you
• contribute or prefer to listen/pick up tips/learn from and about others

• Do you initially feel a bit awkward when the spotlight's on you?
• No worries! Submit your bio and/or pitch (Word or PDF) before the event and we'll do it for you.

Questions and Answers (Q&As)

• Do you often have questions you're burning to ask but find it difficult to speak up?
• Do words desert you when you're put on the spot to explain/describe aspects of your business even though you know it like the back of your hand?
• No problem! Ask/answer questions using the chat feature and either the host or your fellow attendees will correspond.
